Add chicken broth and sauerkraut that has been drained and rinsed, and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cover, simmering for 30 minutes. Add potatoes, recover, and continue to simmer for 20 more minutes, or until potatoes are soft. Add chicken and let sit for 5 minutes to warm the chicken. When serving, add a dollop of sour cream to each bowl and stir to incorporate.
Recipe Notes

For a more sour taste, drain the sauerkraut but do not rinse.

Can easily be made using vegetable broth and “chicken” substitute for a vegetarian meal.

Spice It Up! Bavarian Seasoning is also amazing on Roasted Potatoes.
