Crispy Chickpeas with Zaatar
Nutty, warm and distinctive, crispy chickpeas seasoned with Spice It Up! Zaatar make a healthy and delicious snack. Spice It Up! Zaatar combines paprika, sumac, sesame seeds and other spices into a versatile seasoning mix. When chickpeas are roasted with this Middle Eastern blend until they are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, it is hard to resist them. It’s a good thing they are healthy-you don’t have to feel guilty for eating more than a handful!

- 2 Cans(16 0z) Chickpeas Drained
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp Spice It Up! Zaatar
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Rinse chickpeas and pat dry. Toss chickpeas, oil, and seasonings together to coat. Spread in a single layer on cookie sheet and bake for approximately 40 minutes, until crispy but not burnt.
Recipe Notes
Toss these chickpeas in salads in place of croutons, or serve as a side dish.
