Recipe Notes

Different variations:

  • Pepper Jack cheese, lettuce and tomato
  • Pizza burger – Mozzarella with a tomato sauce in place of ketchup
  • Served on a salad rather than on a bun
  • Make meatballs instead of patties. Brown first in pan then simmer in sauce

Substitute your favorite steak sauce for the ketchup

Can be pan fried instead of grilled

Since turkey burgers can be a bit more delicate than beef burgers, patties can beĀ  made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator which will help them hold together better.
